With Dakota’s blades being (potentially dark) magic, I thought it would be interesting if they sounded like someone, or something whispering at the edge of your hearing. I will not be doing the sound effect in every single panel that they’re in, but I thought it would be good for when the blade forms. And, there’s a reason why the blade doesn’t look like the monsters from the preview image, back before Chapter 1. Just wish I’d thought of making them glow a dark color, in that picture.

Bulletproof wings?
Yup. Dakota’s wings are almost indestructible. They’ll regenerate pretty quickly, if something does manage to damage them.
