First, somebody breaks your stuff, then they try to break you. It’s like the world never really moves past high school.

Spooky, the government agent for which I still don’t have a name, is officially LeFanu’s handler. He’s primarily the DOJ liaison, but  his job mostly entails keeping Grayson from too badly ticking off various government agencies, as well as trying to keep him from getting himself killed. LeFanu really doesn’t make the second part of that job very easy. The LYX-1 broke up during initial testing, and the LYX-2 was lost to sabotage. He was able to land the LYX-2, despite a missing wing and severely FODed* engine. (it had ingested part of the wing)
