I’ve come up with, and discarded countless versions of the comic’s setting. Relationships vary between them. I think this is probably better than the ones where Angel watched Toby die, when they were kids. That one goes back to the Furlows as abusive foster parents thing, from the old comic.

So, I think I’m finally getting a handle on how I want to show Angel’s training. I just need to establish that Angel may have certain strengths, becoming a ranger is not an easy thing for her.
